Sad to announce the legend Whitney Houston has very sadly passed away at the very young age of 48. At the minute there are no details she was a singing legend and had more hits in the US than the Beatles. Heaven is a richer place tonight to have her in the choir but down here she has left a huge void for her fans. She lived a very troubled life
Rest in Peace

A massive loss George....the best female vocalist of this generation without doubt.

Sad news about Whitney Houston. When they do the big montage of her life and career I hope they also show her smoking crack and abusing her husband and child.

When they do the big montage of her life and career I hope they also show her smoking crack and abusing her husband and child. It was him doing the abusing Frank.....all that "she was the aggressor" is rubbish, she said it to keep Brown from facing assault charges himself, he also introduced her to drugs, yes she had her demons, but the fact remains one of the best female vocalists has passed away. She's hardly the first or will be the last in the music game to get hooked on drugs. On montages of Elvis..we dont see him snorting coke while eating 40 burgers a day on the toilet do we? Its about remembering the music...not the crap injected into her veins.

Another very sad loss to the Music Industry, without a doubt she was one of the best female vocalists I ever heard, and beautiful too. She had a very tragic life, unfortunately that often seems to come along with the fame. RIP Whitney

That was very well said Gerry, people are very quick to jump on the famous for their `habits`without really thinking their comments through!!!! As fellow musicians we [i`m sure ] don`t or shouldn`t judge or shouldn`t judge we would all say there but for the Grace of God sure she had her demons but don`t we all.It was the voice that made her and that is how we musicians should remember her
