Hi Everyone The Indian Elections have cncluded and you will not believe how relieved we all are that we have a sane, secular stable Government under the leadership of Dr.Manmohan Singh, our Prime Minister. If the Congress hadn't won,I dread to think who among the other parties would have become our PM. A bunch of criminals, blackmailers and uneducated , corrupt lot. I was truly worried. There seemed to have been an intelligent vote from across the country and I feel proud that our Democracy is so vibrant. I would lve to hear your views on voting. Do you exercise your voting rights / Do you vote for someone whom you think will do good for the country ? Will you vote if you find all the contestants unworthy of your vote ? Do you have the option to vote "None of the above" in your list of contestants, when you find all of them unwortthy ? I very strongly believe ecery ciizen should vote. There are many who constantly crib about the Government or Public Body not doing anything for the locality, town or ciy they arwe living in, but unless we vote our representartive,, do we have the right to complain ? Can we sit in our easy chairs and point accusing fingers at the others , without getting of our backsides and doing something to help ? I do not expect you to relate to our elections but would appreciate your views on the system of voting,.

Totally behind that sentiment Shiyam. If you don't vote, there's no telling who you'll let in, which could/would be worse than those parties you're not too sure about.
