Many of us have experienced the discomfort of stomach burn, due to infdigestion . A very simple remedy is to take the jiuce of fresh ginger in a tablespoon, mix table salt to it and just drink it down.. IT WORKS EVERY TIME, so try it when you need to.. Its more effective than any Antacid and its so freely available ( in your kitchen !!! ) With warm regards Shyam

Thank you, Shyam. I am sure your recommendation will help many who suffer in this way.
I use to go through immeasurable pain from various digestive disorders before altering my eating personal eating habits. Now, mercifully, I do not experience any such uneasiness. In fact, I haven't done so for almost three years!

I still go to Clonmel occasionally, though not necessarily for Kentucky Fried Chicken ;D But let's not deviate from this wonderful topic Re: Remedy for Common Stomach Aches

The thing is Shyam that only temporarily alleviates the problem, it's not a cure!
If you are suffering a lot of acid reflux you should definitely see a Doctor!
Bad bacteria can develop in the stomach such as the Helicobacter pylori, which causes acid reflux, heartburn etc, but if left untreated can lead to duodenal and gastric ulcers and stomach cancer!

Ginger has been a tummy-ache 'cure' for hundreds, maybe even thousands of years. Its also used to alleviate the upset stomach associated with motion sickness. You can take ginger pills, eat gingersnap cookies or crystallized ginger, or even drink ginger soda.
Careful with the salt. That can cause more problems than it might 'cure'.
