Sorry to hear about your friend Ivan. As a survivor of a brain haemorrage myself I can empathise to some extent with what you and Ivan's family must be going through.

Sorry to hear about your friend Kev....sincere condolences mate. A friend of mine is in hospital too, he has been critical for 3 weeks now and is still on life support, he went out for a quiet pre-christmas drink with his wife and ended up getting punched to the ground and being kicked in the head by a group of 4 scumbags in a totally un-provoked attack, he has 3 young children too. While santa was delivering presents to all the children of the world, his kids were gathered around his bed watching a priest give him the last rites, a terrible time for them all.

Really sorry to hear about your dear friend, Ivan. Our heartfelt condolences to you and family and Ivan;s family too.
I llost my good friend Ivan Yates, last September....... he died of a massive heart attack. A good musician and a very dear friend who used to be with us every Christmas season for 8 years !.
Losing friends dear to our hearts leave us very lonely indeed. Its difficult to carry on, but we must
May his soul rest in peace and may God give you the strength to bear this loss.

Hi Guys thanks for the comforting words...we buried Ivan yesterday (16th)...it was a nice service from a churchman who really knew him....Ivan liked his heavy rock music, bikes and the 'devils sup'...but never a bad word about anybody crossed his lips...like myself and a few of our other friends, Ivan had long hair and people got the two of us mixedup many times...and working in the same place together for 10 years really confused things lolol...He did the odd bit as 'roadie' for some locals bands in his younger days and seeing just how many of these players were at his funeral showed the high esteem he was held in...we all stood silent. ageing wannabe superstars, in the ice cold graveyard as he was lowered..RIP my friend.
Michael I'm glad to hear that have recovered from your condition as well..it's not nice of the family to watch a loved one suffer. Gerry I sincerely hope your friends makes it without being left with complications...thoughts are with him.
