Hi Everyone Thought I would share last nights Gig with you. Axe Production Unit arrived two and a half hours late to set up.having got there they then discover while unloading that the main power supply unit was not on board.it was another two an half hours before that arrived. The main band Julian Austin(Google him) was also late as he had to come from Winnipeg by Plane then 5.5hour drive from Calgary.Do you know what.no one was panicking. Julian was so laid back it was unreal.Eventually we had a soundcheck and all was well.I have never seen so many lights and Fender guitars and sound equipment.Enough to fill a stadium. All I took was my trusty keyboard and my old Fleetwood guitar. Everything else was supplied.I kicked off at 8.30pm with some old sixties British groups stuff which seem to go down well.I told some jokes made some announcements and was done by 9.45. I gave the band a 15 minute break at 11.15pm having changed into my country shirt and Jeans.Yes i even had a dressing room and sung some stuff on the acoustic guitar and announced the winners of the Raffle. The atmosphere was amazing. This has got to be my all time favourite gig.I was well paid for hardly doing anything and have been promised some more work. I am still on an adrenalin high. I hope those of you working last night had as much fun as I did. Lets hear how yours went. Regards
Mark

Hi Mark That sounded like a good one, I think I would have been getting really angry with someone if my gear had not been there. I had a good night on Southend on Sea seafront in a club. I shared the evening with a cracking girl singer, we both did an hour on our own, then a raffle, then she did half an hour, I did the run up to midnight, then we both did Auld lang syne and busked the last half hour as a duo. We had never met before but it just clicked. Totally spontaneous, and got a real buzz from winging the last half hour.
