:)Hi folks, just to let you know that after having 3 weeks of the high life 1..being transported around in several government vehicles, usually with all of the flashing lights & sirens going ( must be someone important ) 2..being waited on by in most cases very attractive government employees where almost every whim is catered for even to the extreme measure of being tucked in at night..Wow!!!! 3..having strangers come forth bearing gifts...also being accommodated in hotel like surroundings.now for the bad news ...sorry to do this to you al,l Ole Simmo’s Back to annoy the crap out of my very good forum member mates..once more with he’s “maniacal Ramblings”...however i must say its great to be back in the real world.Patricia has been a Rock & i do not know how she stayed so strong but with the family & friends rallying around things are looking definitely more upbeat i am pleased to report in the Simmo household.Another positive is that the ole fella somehow managed to shed a record 10kg during this exciting time...( i can send you my secret diet...stop eating!!! ) anyway... the Ole Fella has strict orders from the War Office to be on his best behaviour until all of the medical loose ends are cleared up Being the very first time in hospital after72 years of pretty good health was certainly a new experience for Ole Simmo ,the other fascinating things i found out & i’m not to sure as to whether this was a good or bad thing i discovered parts & orifices in my body that i didn’t even realise existed before this exciting adventure began which to my amazement were then subject to being invaded by the strangest of various wicked looking apparatus which to put it mildly turned out to be not quite as enjoyable!!!! as i had anticipated my other claim to fame in our family which now puts me as holding the record is the fact that although i do not remember a lot about it in just under three weeks i had several different procedures carried out in three separate hospitals & just to make this outstanding family record worthwhile the icing on the cake was ......wait for it.....three high speed rides to get me there with all of the bells & whistles as well...now how good is that!!!.Well folks Ole Simmo has brought you up to speed with all of the Baldivis news..i hope i didn’t bore you to much...also i have just looked at all of those wonderful comments that my good friends on the forum have so kindly put in during the past weeks & both Patricia & myself feel deeply grateful for your concern..thank you all so much you do not realise how touched we both are by your thoughtfulness, also a very special thanks must go to our very dear friend John G & family for passing on all of the news to the forum..he is a true gentleman. Will keep in touch.. Terry & Patricia......”The Simmo’s

Great to see you back Terry ;D You had us all worried for a while there mate but I'm sure all the doctors and nurses had a fill of your ramblings so they had to send you home ..lol just jesting of course . Many thanx to John for keeping us up to speed as things seemed to have got quite serious at one stage and it was great to get updates every now and then.... The place didn't quite seem the same here without you and its times lke these that we really get to appreciate the true meaning of family friends and above all our spouses . Hope you all have an extra special Christmas this year and look forward to many more tales from down under ....... Best wishes and warm regards Barry

Hi Simmo, I'm not on the Forum very long, but have been reading all about you. Did watch the video recording you did in that big big garage of yours and thoroughly enjoyed it. From what I read, you have been through a pretty bad time and I'm so glad to see this news today. I don't know you as well as some of the other forum members, but I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you back too and wish that your health continues to improve. All the best for Christmas and the New Year to you and your wife.
Cheers John from Londonderrry, N.Ireland

Hi all, great to be back in the thick of it once more & once again many thanks for all of your support,it looks like Ole Simmo has got a bit of catching up to do,lots of forum stuff going on even some new faces around the place, also good to see some of the old members popping in.All is going well in the Simmo family unfortunately gigging is off for a bit longer & i have not gigged at the oldies venues for several weeks also my busking venture is on hold as well,i have committed for ten oldies xmas concerts in the week leading up to Xmas which i am sweating on doing,it would be a pity to let the folks down, the other changes for the Simmo's unfortunately included us cancelling a three week overseas trip to Thailand leaving on 23rd of Dec,but not to worry there will always be more opportunities further down the track to do this.Local news from this part of Aussie, firstly the summer has arrived with a hot start, Saturday topped 37c Sunday more of the same with another 37c today cooler at 35c & the nights have been around 24c which is not to bad for sleeping, the bushfire forecast is not good after us having late rains which has left a lot of areas of bushland in tinder dry condition which is a recipe for bushfires, further south of us in the Margaret River region thirty properties were recently lost to a large fire which swept through the area, the State is on high alert already what with our summer just beginning.Well thats about it for now,so until the next update... best wishes to all....The Simmo's from down Baldivis way
