It was announced this morning that the great man had passed away, although he wouldn`t be that well known by many of our forum members he was a legend in the music scene here in the north of Ireland, his band was held in the highest regard on the circuit and to be asked to gig with him was an honour.
Stories about him are legendary he was hard to work with because he would only accept the best and didn`t suffer fools easily. Dave toured all over the world with his `Dave Glover Showband ` and he will be very sadly missed, he has gone now to the showband in the sky.

I didn't hear that he had died until tonight...Stephen Smyth told me.....I have two midis of his medleys....Nostalgia ( which Stephen does as well )and the Eurovision songs.......he'll be missed
