I have many Win Zip and Win Rar folders in my flash drive,how can you get the search function to search them.

Hi Frank... If you mean the search function within winzip what I do (I got winzip 15 btw ) is open winzip click on the 3rd icon on the very top left side (open winzip file ) in the search bar put in your winzip files location e.g. flashdrive f g etc and on the right of the location type in the file your looking for in the search bar .......I'm sure older versions work off the same principal........hope I understood the question right  if its the windows search function your having probs with try this one supp to be much better for locating files ..... www.nirsoft.net/utils/search_my_files.html Cheerz Barry  |
