Firstly George i think it shows just how good Irish Rugby is at the moment, Paul O'Connell is a good choice as captain, i think the selection of young Kieth Earls is a master move, this kid is gonna be a revelation!!
Still, they will have to be totally amazing to match what Mcbride and his team did....he was one tough cookie...and 17 lions test caps is some achievement.
Tubbs...breaking up the fight between weegeo and the south african whose eyes were gouged. ;D

Was just looking at the team and does it tell a story lol 14 Irishmen,13 Welshmen,2 Scots and only 8 Englishmen, does this mean that the coach thinks that the `Celts`will be the squad to win. It seems reading the BBC sports pages that Martin Johnston is very disappointed that there were not as many english in the squad as he thinks there should have been HuH rich coming from a guy that let his team maul and assault everyone they played. The coach McGeechan was very fair in his selection he left out the other 3 `home` captains and chose his team on form

I'm Scottish and I'm surprised that they selected two Scots for the Lions side .That means that two better players were left out of the squad to accommodate them. Anyway the squad does reflect that Ireland and Wales were the best sides by a country mile in this years Six Nations and I feel confident about our chances . Regards Bigmike
