Hi Tommy The Yamaha APX 700 12string is pretty good. Saw them advertised for £369 (used to be over £500) But that's Electro/Acoustic don't know if that's what your after.
Good luck Eddie

Best to "D" tune to keep the stress off the neck.I have had about 4 or 5 in my time and have found Yamaha too be okay. I want a Rickenbacker 12 string.

I had a Tanglewood TGRD but changed to APX 700...I found the Tanglewood to be very good but the reason I changed to the APX was simply that I could get it in blue....but I play the APX 6string when I'm out...all my ( 7 )guitars are blue...wife kicks off about them lololol

I've never played a Tanglewood Tommy, but i have a six string Yamaha APX and for the money they're excellent. I've played it straight into PA and through an Amp and both sound good.
