I hope no one minds but it`s that time again and i want to share it with the friends that have helped me cope with it.
My little grandson Luka was 2 years old just 4 days ago and today he is 2 years in heaven, his passing left a great void that i just can`t move on from he touched my life in a totally different way from all my other grandchildren and so once again i share this tribute with you my extended family and i thank you all for the support that i recieve here in this forum.

Sorry for you loss George. It must be so hard for you and your extended family, any loss of life is so hard on a family, but nothing comes close to the loss of a child. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this extremely hard time. R.I.P little Luka.

Hi George...it brings a lump to my throat...we have a lovely 16month old little grandaughter who we just adore..she's the only child of our only child.....I don't know what we would do if we lost her....our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time..............in the words of Don McLean and a tribute to little Luka..........'This world was never meant for one as beautiful as you'

Hi George...time could never heal the pain and lose that you're feeling now....as I said in my earlier post that we have a granddaughter...2years and 4 months old now...a wee ''skitter'' but I pray everyday that God leaves her with us...prayer and faith...no matter what the religion, is all we have to hold on too...may God give you the strength to get through this.

Speaking for myself, I don't find that time so much heals, as gives us the strength to carry on after a particularly heavily felt loss. One never expects a young one to go earlier than oneself and so the loss is always particularly strongly felt and so takes that much longer to become bearable. At least that is what has been my experience. Keep your family and friends close at this time, I'm sure they will help you in your grief. Take care. JohnG. |

I echo all said here. Nine years ago, my Nephew [19 yrs old] tragically drowned in a freak accident. I know what it is to try to cope with something like this.

Hi George. Your sense of loss is very understandable and we all feel for you and your family as you try and cope as best you can. I lost my father 7 years ago and still feel the pain to this day. However, he had the chance to live a fairly long time, he was 68 when he died of cancer, but your little Luka was only a couple of years old and left this world way too soon.
May he, and other loved ones who have departed from us, continue to rest in peace.

Hi guys our little Luka it`s 5 years today that God got a new bright light in heaven please excuse this old grandfather but i miss him so much i see his little face everyday it was his birthday 4 days ago[date wise]and the big man called him home on this his 4th day i look for his star nearly every night and just wish i could hold him for just another day it hurts so much and to those that say time heals sorry it doesn`t i know he is Gods care and he is doing well but i miss him.
Good night my little man your grandad and Granny loves you more than the day you were born hope your being a strong boy all our love to you forever
