Imteresting indeed. I used to keep a four coloured spot light used unit in front of our band and the crowd loved it. These midi lights must be unaffordably costly.Do you use theses Frankie?

That unit is $75 NZ.
I use halogen floods $15 each with coloured gels 2 of each and operated by a bass responce light sensor[with variouse pattern settings] sitting on top of the sound module speakers.
Lights fitted on 2 T bars on PA stands with individual power supplies.
Relacement 500w halogen bulbs $4.
Was looking at getting some traffic lights and modifying them.

Frankie that is darned reasonable I must say !! Did you try the beacon "police/ambulance" lights ? The ate really handy
I heard there are some Chinese goodies in a nearby town and I think I'll go have a look see.
Nice to brighten up the gigs with some lights !!!!!!
