I just wondered what tactics all the gigging members use to get into new clubs for the first time, ie what sales approach do you all use, and what do you find works best for you?

Ian My name is ..........I have been playing at so and so and was wondering if you would be interested in booking me. I can give you a demo CD and a list of clubs you can ask for any feedback. I have a good following and can bring more patrons into your club. [take your diary with you preferably a thick organiser] Here is my card. I can do discount for 2 nights if I can leave my gear set up. |

Lol lol good ploy i`ve never used it myself though but it does make sense i`m not know for discount it`s so small over here in the North normally your name is enough most clubs get to know a bands name
