I wish "CHIT CHAT" could be kept for just that - chit chatting about trivial stuff . I wish there was space where we could exchange pleasantries, like wishing our members on their birthdays, offer congratulatory wishes and I guess it'll be okay if we use this space to offer our condolences on bereavement, offer sympathies etc etc.
We could call it the Personal Lounge or something like that ...... a place for personal exchanges between our members on things personal.
Chit chat somehow doesnt seem the right place to wish someone on his birthday , dont you agree, guys ?
Just a suggestion !

I am continually impressed with your relentless enthusiasm toward this forum. You are continually looking to engage fellow forum members with various topics and suggestions.We are very fortunate here to have someone so thoughtful and kind to give so much for so long. Thanks Geraint !! I was hoping there'd be someones Birthday today to inagurate the Personal Lounge, but no one amongst us,seems to have been born on this day ! steveb ....... I get lazy too at times !!! Its nice to have the gang in , talking about so many subjects the way only we musos can do. We really are a formidable lot of guys, we are soft and sensitive, loud and aggrssive, arrogant and caring ........ We can make people happy or make them cry, we can be ignored or we can be applauded !! We can be straight faced or screw up our faces, we can be hippies or gentlemen. We reaaly can influence those around us,we can make ourselves heard !!!!!! With so many variables in us, this Forum can be one helluva "Hyde's Park", dont you think ? Sound the Bugle and join the din !!!! C H E E R S !!!!!!!!!! |
