Hi Shyam, Thanks for thinking of me. To my shame I have been tied up with a few things. I am still gigging but what's really made me busy is cricket! I set up a new cricket club in my nearest town, which is called Thurles, if you Google Thurles Cricket Club you can read all about us. Something quite nice happened recently in that my son Aaron (age 11) has just been selected to play for cricket for Munster, this is a Province in Ireland and has several large counties: Tipperary, Cork, Limerick, Kerry, Clair and Waterford....if I missed a county someone will put me right. Anyway, I aim to be popping in more often - I love this place but know it is in very good hands...best members and mods in the world

Congratulations to your son Pat, I too follow cricket closely, alas neither of my 2 boys have any interest in the game. Shyam, whats happening to your team over here at the moment is quite sad, they look out of sorts in the way England did 6 or 7 years ago.

Thanks Guys! Shyam, this forum can keep me captive any time ;D By the way, Aaron is a bowler with a growing reputation and his stats are quite remarkable, especially for his age; in one senior game (yes, he is good enough to play in the seniors) he took four top order batsmen for just 22 runs, this was from 7 overs in a 30 overs match. This was in a game two months ago held in Dublin. Amazing stuff for his age and is why he's been selected for Munster youths. He is playing with our senior team on Sunday (August 14) and will hopefully do well. There is info on him on our website: www.thurlescricketclub.com
