Me again with yet another problem I am trying to download a free CD label programme called press it to my laptop running Vista, I picked this site as I have several new packets of Blank CD Labels names like Acc-Sees Ltd, and SOS, I have tried to find both on the net but I am guessing they are out of business as no answer on the phone and no web sites that I can find, looking at the labels they appear to be the press-it design, so I thought easy peasy , I'll go on Press It's web site and download the free software they do called Ex Press it 3.1 templates, unfortunately not so easy, every time I try to run the software it opens in Vanbasco, tried it from Cnet and Press it and it still happens every time, any ideas on this one guys? something has got to work for me soon Jacqui www.pressit.com/pressit_download.htm

Me too JC.
I bought one of these Canon printers, a Pixma iP5000, some while back after my other one gave up the ghost. The printable CD clips onto a little tray that you put in a special slot. Results are almost professional.
It's certainly a solution to look into for the future Jackie. The printer also comes with its own label making program for creating the layout. So no hunting around for working programs. The latest version of the utility can usually be found at their download centre.
Not much help for your current problem though, I'm afraid.

Thanks for the advise, I will look into both those for the future, I like the idea of them they sound very professional, I was not really planning on a new printer just yet though. Someone told me you can print labels from Windows Media Player the later versions but I've looked and I can't find anything, Jacqui
