I`ve waited to see if anyone else would raise this topic as no one has i thought i`d start it lol All sorts of questions are now being asked about Rory McIlroy!! Is he as good as the `Tiger`will he collect more majors than him and so on
It was absolutely brilliant to see how he handled himself at the weekend in winning his first major the rest of the field just couldn`t get close to him at all,he was on a different planet from the rest. He presents himself as a very unassuming lad and a real credit to his parents.
Now the press are asking is he the greatest sportsperson we in N.Ireland have ever had!!! I think i would have to reserve judgement on that for a while he is no doubt a breath of fresh air to the world of golf. So well done Rory welcome to the big time and i wish you every success for the future and any chance of some free lessons lol lol

Hi Weegeo,i ran the name Rory Mcilroy past our middle son (who is a golf enthusiast (playing & following) & he also agreed with your comments on Rory so he does indeed look like one to watch out for in the future,only 22 years old i believe....Simmo
