save midi file

hi john me again got another query
as you know i use logic platinum to set up my midis
when im happy with the finished midi i save it in logic platinum and if i need to go back to file its the same as the one i doctored.
i then try to save it as a midi so as i can post them on midihangout but the file goes back to the original midi settings all the changes ive made are gone.
i go into each instrument and do changes where needed these changes dont store when saving as midi so cant share with anyone thanks maverick(jim)

Not familiar with LP but try saving it under a diff name than the original ? ........just for pig iron might be worth a shot ...........

That would be my suggestion too.
Whenever I change a file I change the name, usually by adding two initials to the name before the .mid.
