Hi !
I'm French.. Sorry for my poor english !..
I come from FreshMidis !.. (I posted +500 messages on it..) But, as I read elsewhere in this Forum, FM seems definitely closed.. I'm Ok for to say the cause is probably due to a (c) problem.. or maybe something like this.. But I don't know the real reason why FM is no longer available. Sorry. (I try to contact ex-member, but I'm always waiting for replies..) Therefore, I'm hoping FM re-opens someday..
About me : I manage a site devoted midi files : Rppmf (Rock Pop Progressive Midi files).. I suppose some people here, already know my web site.. Url is in the sign..
See you very soon !..

Bonjour Thierry,
And welcome to the forum. That's an interesting web site you have.
Do you create all your own MIDI files? Sorry to ask, but my French is worse than your English, much worse. It'll take me some time to translate your web page.
Judging by the keyboards, guitars, drum machines etc., you do. Is it all done using the laptop? That's studio looks quite impressive with all the rack mounted synths etc. I see an old DX7, is that Mk1 or Mk2? What are the other two keyboards?
Hope to see you around. Best regards, JohnG.

Hello JohnG.. Thanks for these appreciate notices.. No, I didn't play all midis on Rppmf !.. I just sequenced 3 or 4 (A-ah - Cosy Prison / Dires Straits - Six blade knife.. for example...) But I often Rework or add some tracks like melody for to make Kar, correct bad notes etc.. Listen : Toto - Pamela. I used 4 Files for to have the file you can hear.. (Some tracks come from GuitarPro midi conversion..) So, as you understood, I collect midi from the net. But, due to my work, there's lots of files you'll only find on rppmf ! Since 2 years, on new pages, credits are indicate into the files. Espacially with GuitarPro Files conversion. (Van Basco allows to see them easily). I bought this DX7 in 1986 ! It's a simple version, without any changes / Rom inside.. Other synths are SY77 and Cs1x. Expanders on racks are : Roland s330 - Korg 03rw - Kawai k4 - Yamaha TG55 - Oberheim Matrix 1000 - Alesis D4.. Only oldies, but I always like them.. and I think most important thing is to play, not to run for technology ! I recently made this version of "Brother in Arms" I played Guitar, Bass and I sung too.. in english !! Here's the link : rppmf.com/mp3/brother_in_arms_(rppmf_160_br).mp3Bye
