A guy came up to me last weekend and said 'do you do requests'? I said to him 'what song do you want'? He said 'do you know the song Wurlitzer'? I said that I had never heard of it. He said 'you know the song, everyone knows it'. I said that I had never heard it before. Sing it to me I said to the man!
He prompty sang the following;
Wurlitzer one for the money, two for the show, three to get ready now go cat go, but don't you..................
Boom Boom, I've been using that one for years now.

I guess we all do get some strange/funny requests. Someone asked is to play Slowly Dying" I asked all the guys if they'd ever heard of that one ! I even phoned a musician friend if he knew what it was ........... NO LUCK !! Till,,,,,,,,,, the guy came up when we were having a coffee break and tried to sing the tune ! He left a 100 bucks tip n the table and said " Thank you , I'm sure you'll sing it for me " The song ? "KILLING ME SOFTLY " !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stevie Wonder was playing a huge gig in Tokyo. He was about three numbers into the set when a little guy in the front row stood up and shouted "Stevie, play a jazz chord" Stevie thought to himself I'll humour the guy so he played a Bb minor 7th with a flattened 9th. "No, no", said the little man, "Play a jazz chord" So Stevie played a series of really clever chords. "No, no" shouted the little guy "You know....... A jazz chord to say I rove you."
