I have a major problem that I just cannot fathom. When I open an email with an attached photo I click on the attachment which opens up with windows picture and fax viewer, for the first time ever I used the curser arrows on the right hand side of my keyboard, now when I am looking at my photo album and I use these keys it goes through my photos one by one BUT when I used these keys after opening an attached photo a selection of icons and pictures followed which I could not believe I recalled some from ebay items that I had looked at in the past BUT some were porn pics definitely not mine. And more frightening was that when I went into the properties of one of these pics it showed up as being on my C disc. How can this be I am devastated. After deleting the said pics I opened up ebay again and opened up the items, went back into my emails opened up an attachment pic pressed the keys and there they were again a totally random lot of pictures and icons of all sorts and porn. Please help what's happening.

you seem to of picked up a bug which keeps loading various stuff,i use Avira premium with its own firewall. Its a fantastic program for blocking viruses, trojans and diallers/rootkits etc!!.its only about £24 a year, and in 2 years i have never had any problems. If it finds a suspect site or page,it wont let you load it,and it will tell you why.Try Frank,s program first,i hope it might stop it,but it sounds like a trojan, what anti-virus program are you using??,it should of stopped it.hope this might help..........Steve

when you get an e-mail,be careful what you open!!,if there is an attachment and its not from a friend or somewhere you personally know DELETE it.Do not open it!! thats how virus,s get in.This can also render your anti-virus useless.try restoring to a time before the email, then do a complete scan, this might eradicate the virus.

The advice oldsage gives is good advice, when you have got rid of your problem download spybot, its free and brilliant, also dont know what security you use but AVG 2011 is also very good and that is also free. I use both of the above with no problems
