The Irish have struck again!!! Well done to the green jersey`s,what a superb show of absolute class batting after being set 300+ by the Ashes holders,the conquerers of Aussie Land the heirs apparent to the world no:1 ranking oops the should have realised it`s St.Pat`s day soon the irish are on the rise worldwide lol. A superb century off only 50 balls is the new world cup record reminded me of [here`s a name to conjure with lol]Colin Milburn the legendary England opener who would hit sixes all over the field and never back down but back to the match lol lol England i`m sure thought they had the match in their back pocket when they had the Irish team 111 for 5 in steps K O`Brien and oops the game is over. In fairness if England had held their catches it may well have been a different result but for now lets just bathe in the light of victory lol weegeo--------- in the corner still waiting on the call to play ;D  |

In fairness you make a good point it seems the ICC want to change the format and `ban`the so called minnows!!! for me part of the allure[wow where did that word come from lol] is the `underdog`beating the so called established team/s to me that is taking the `world` out of the competition yesterday shows just how far the `underdogs`have come and anyway who is ricky Ponting he is making a good job of leading his test team into the position of `also rans`This win that my wee country has had will be talked about for years to come so well done the wee minnows.

oops just had an afterthought Pontings comments remind me of a well known song an oldie but a goodie lol in C# `who`s a minnow now who`s a minnow now who`s teams are losing and breaking right down who`s sad and blue who`s crying too just like Ponting cries when he`s blue.

All Ponting does is moan moan moan....Minnows my back-side...thats what makes these competitions interesting...England beat the Aussies in the Ashes...so statistically Ireland are superior to Australia having beaten England yesterday!!!! C'mon Ireland!!! ;D  |

YEAH, I cheered the Ireland team (my fatherland !!!) and screamed when they won and everyone around asked me whom I'd be cheering when they play India !! Come Sunday, , eyes glued to the TV set, I cheered for India (my motherland !!!!)
Best of both worlds ...... thats what I want to believe , I am !!! lol.

Sorry for the late report!! Well done to India on a great win unfortunately the total set for India was just to small, Ireland played well but on the day we were just outplayed it`s going to be hard for Ireland to progress but at least we have been enterntaining. I wish India well for the rest of the championship and look forward to some more cracking games.

Ireland deserves to have a Test Match team playing International Cricket. They are looking pretty formidable and professional and they are a lovable team !!!!
