Hi Folks,Ole Simmo would like a little help on getting the correct chords for a bit of an old favorite with the folks i play to,i have been doing it up to now with basicly a drum rhythmn but i have just made a better version using a midifile from which i then put it into mp3 format,my problem is that all the time i have been using the drum backing i must have been using the wrong guitar chords in a couple of places, now that i have a better version i am finding some of the chords are not sounding quite right,i have had a bit of a play around with it but just can't seem to get it sounding right.I can forward the mp3 backing to anyone who can find the right chords, just let me know the email address if i do not already have it,the song is in the key of G,i have got a couple of versions in some song books but its still not quite right...many thanks Simmo..Ps you would really need to listen to the mp3 as it might be slightly different to the standard chords

Hi Weeo, many thanks for offer, its on its way,Frank kindly put me onto a site for chords etc which has almost got me over the line, just a couple of suss areas,as you say there are heaps of versions of this song, the other thing is of course is Ole Simmo has had a play with the midi trying to customise it to suit so this could be potentially dangerous ,my version probably leans towards Connie Francis. Best wishes ...Simmo

Hi Terry (me old mate!), Have you not discovered the site wikifonia, and for what you want specifically www.wikifonia.org/node/2827 where you can download 'the dots' and the accompanying chords? If you look over to the right you'll see "transpose" so you can get the pdf of the song in any key you like and re-format it for A4 or letter size paper then download and print. Couldn't be easier. Any mail yet? Yer mate, JohnG.

Hi Eddie, the chords you sent me fit in beautifully,as you say it was a different version than normal but never the less i really liked the laid back feel of it,our good mate John G also put me onto a site (see Johns latest post) which is great for transposing but in this instance because of the make up of the midi it didn't quite sound correct.( dont forget Ole Simmo had a play around with the midi as well ) anyway mate much appreciated...Simmo....PS..the busking is going well i will see if i can post some pics of my little busking setup for the forum
