MP3 or What?

Hi all, Since I have stopped gigging a couple of years ago I recently powered up my Sony minidisc recorder/player that appears to be faulty. So what I would prefer now just for backing myself and sax is an mp3? player.So my question is what are you all using nowadays to play back your tracks,which device do you find best,or easiest to use and to record/download onto...........Many Thanks Pete.

I'm using an older IPOD. I make up playlists for my sets and have a 10 minute song between each that is blank. one song plays after the other so my first song would be the first song of the set and the second would be the 10 minute balnk. when i'm ready i just play the 3rd song which is the second song of the set... sounds confusing but works really well.
