Well as the rolling stones would sing `it`s all over now`The English team played the better game and had most of the answers with some brilliant performances with bat and ball BUT let`s not get too carried away Australia are a team that are going thru a re-birth they has no Warne McGrath or Brett Lee with the retirements of these 3 the aussies basically had to `start again`and whilst England have won this time round i`m sure it will be different next time. Sorry to pour oil on the waters lol lol it was great to see the arrogance knocked out of the aussie team
weegeo-----------in the corner waiting for a call up to the aussie squad lol lol

I think they are looking at re-vamping the team today.Ponting should have gone ages ago with his Napolean syndrome.

We became used to losing a few years ago, the Aussies never had that, they always had the aura of invincability about them. Not too dissimilar to Liverpool football club 15 years ago. I would rather have a strong Aussie cricket team competing against the world. Us English ( plus our 2 South African batsmen ) should enjoy the next 18 months until the next Ashes series.

Ricky Ponting is unavailable for the last test due to a broken finger,i think this will clearly signal the beginning of the end for him which is sad in a way i looked up his `stats`as both player and captain and he has been outstanding if he has gone it is a loss for Australian if not world cricket
