Watch out if you get this email, a scam and could put a virus or trogan on your PC, unless you are owed that money from Virgin Media, then go for it ;D Jacqui

I spoke to my daughter, who used to work for Virgin, she said this sounds dodgy, & that there have been dodgy emails from people posing as Virgin in the past. she advised that you contact Virgin before opening the email, if you think you are owed money.

I received one this morning allegedly from HMRC saying I hadn't claimed my tax refund!
Ho, ho, ho!
They don't send out their reminders this way, and even if they did they wouldn't ask you to do a direct login, but to go to their normal site.
I tend to get at least one scam a week, but sometimes as many as several a day on the Demon account I've had since the early nineties. The Nigerian account scam, the legacy scam and so on.
Gives me a good laugh most mornings. The bad spelling and terrible grammar usually give them away even before you've read the too-good-to-be-true offer.
All the best, JohnG.
