So sad to hear the news today.....one of the few comedians who could bring tears to my eyes ;D from humble beginnings he went on to become one of the all time greats and up there with the best of them for sure.........R.I.P Norman ....  .. |

He had a quality of innocence and irrepressible sense of slapstick that, I think, no-one has ever equalled let alone surpassed. And without one swear word.
For many of us our youth would have been a much duller place without him.
R.I.P. Norman.
