A very good friend of mine has been diagnosed with cancer of the Liver and is due for Chemo therapy ant time now . What are his chances ? We are praying hard that he comes through. Will a Liver transplant help ? If someone can help with some positive inputs, I could pass it on to him and help him.

I read somewhere that if part of the liver is removed it regrows after a while.

Frank has made a very valid point and it can work out very well there are some things that need to be known ie type of cancer, stage of cancer and general condition of the liver if your friend is lucky and has a strong live and the disease hasn`t embedded in the lymph nodes then he is in with a good chance most important he must have a strong outlook and [don`t mean this in a silly way]look the illness in the eye and not give into it i didn`t if he does this then he has an excellent chance I wish him good luck
