Yes Frank, I have fished since I was a child, great way to relax. I gave it up for a while when I became a golf fanatic, but have now gone back to fishing.

I was watching a UK carp fishing programme they were using PVA bags for ground bait. Apparanltly they disolve after a few minutes. Do you know much about them ? Who makes them and how much they cost ?

I'm sorry Frank, I am a Trout and Salmon man, so I have not heard of this product.

If you do a search on ebay you should find loads of these for sale under the fishing section, well certainly in ebay.co.uk. There's also a web site www.pvabags.net, where you can "read all about it!" PVA (polyvinyl acetate) is the white wood glue that you get a little tube of with the self assembly furniture. Not sure about the environmental effects of disolved PVA in a pond gradually accumulating though. I know nothing about carp fishing either. JohnG.
