Sad to see that Mike Edwards, one of the founding members of The Electric Light Orchestra has been killed in a freak accident. .Cellist Mike, 62, died instantly in the accident on the A381 in Halwell, Devon, on Friday. Police believe a 600kg bale of hay fell from a tractor on nearby farmland before rolling on to the road and hitting the van Mike was driving.

Mike was with the ELO from 1972-1975. May he rest in peace.

May i add my sympathies as well i loved ELO and Mike Edwards was such an important member in the founding of the band
So sad to be taken in this freakish way i think God needed a Cellist for his band he got one of the best
