Hi Guys My daughter Chandini ( more affectionately called "CANDY") is presntly in the U.K. - at the moment in London.
Her U.K. Mobile No. is 00-44-77073696025. (You can figure out what the no. is locally)
Would greatly appreciate it if you could give her a call and say Hi . She'll be happy to know how many friends I have in the U.K..!
She phones me everyday and tells me how beautiful it is over there. She was in Bristol two days ago and hopefully she'll visit other places there.

George, I was soooooooooo happy when she told me you'd called . Yes, she is enjoying herself, but I'm sad that she didnt visit as much of the U.K. as I'd have liked her to, but its her holiday and as long as she's happy visiting where she could, I'm happy too. Thanks George.. God Bless You

Dear Shyam,
Don't be too sad.
Travel, especially by train, is not cheap in the UK. It's one of the most expensive countries in Europe for public transport. The only way to do it is the way Terry (good ole Simmo) and his good lady, Patricia did it some time ago. Buy a cheap car, for a few hundred quid, insure it for a year (get a refund when you leave) and sell it when you're done. This gives you much more freedom but places the extra burden of route finding and driving. Around London that can be a nightmare at certain times of day. And one can only travel so much and take in so much in a holiday.
Be thankful, as I'm sure you are, that she had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed herself. She's young and can always visit again, who knows. And she probably will if she had a great time. She'll soon be saying "I wish I'd gone to see ... !"
Susanne and I go to the UK usually once a year, base ourselves in a new area, and see what we can of the surroundings. Then plan for somewhere else the following year. We'll be doing a bit more of London this time. Plus a visit to the famous Promenade Concerts in the Albert Hall. Seats already booked and tickets received!
I was so pleased, when my two visited Uganda that they'd been to visit the house where I lived in Entebbe. The people living there were so hospitable to them.
All the best, JohnG.
