Hi Guys I have a Yamaha S 900 and its really nteresting to see how the complexion of a song changes when you pla the MIDI file and add an accompaniment beat to it. Its like a DJ Remix and gets the younger crowd vibing to it. As an example I played the midi of Cracklin' Rosie (Neil Diamond's) and added the Accompaniment Style - RETRO POP from the Dance styles............ sounded interesting! The MIDI of Strangers in the Night went pretty well with the FRANKLY SOUL style from the R & B style bank!!!!! Actually most styles fit into most songs and the tempo is well fowed and ........... the style ends with the midi ending !! Amazing................... try it out !!!!!!!!!! It sure would be interesting to share these" remixes" with other members.

Hey Shyam
What a great idea.I shall try this on my S900. Is your one all working okay now? I remember you had some issues with it a while back. Let me know. Regards

Hi Mark, my S900 is working okay, but the display , which had a vertical band on it is still playing trick. I get a flickering thick vertical band coming up occassionally and the letterings seem to show up erratically. This is really upsetting, but I manage with the external video screen connected from my video out. I know three other friends who have display problems in their S900s and I really feel sore with Yamaha about this. I had a look at my frind's S 910 .. the display is TFT one ....... is that different from ours ?
