Hello, my good friends......... it sure has been a LOOOOOOOOONG time since I looked in and said Hi to all of you. After a pretty busy Christmas/New Year Season, the lull came and instead of using the lazy hours to post in to our Forum , I just became a lazy oaf and sat around doing ......... nothing !! Yes I did practice a few songs, fine tuned some midis and did the usual routine contracted programmes, but nothing much else to write about. The ongoing IPL Cricket matches have kept me occupied for the last fortnight. Yes, there is something I've learnt to like. As you know I dont drink (alcoholic drinks) but someone introduced me to Vodka and Orange Juice and I thnk I like it , good taste, sweet and I've not had any hangover !! I got Smirnoff Vodka and have a large peg (120 ml) every other day !!!!!!!! Does that make me a boozer ? Ha, I'm learning things in my old age !!!!!!!! Will definitely post in more often from now on. Love and regards to everyone and my best'est' wishes especially, to all those who celebrated their Birthdays in the last two months. I havent checked all the posts but I would like to hear from my ghood friend George (weegeeo) . I'm sure he is back to his usual mischievous self. Cheers (with my glass of Vodka)!!!

Well well well the legend that is `Shyam` is back lol very good to see you old man the place has been deathly quiet without you and you searching posts.
Not so glad to hear that you are on the old vodka and orange though lol although i haven`t had a drink in a while now my very favourite tipple is smirnoff and smirnoff lol lol i like my smirnoff large and no ice but i suppose you have to start somewhere.
Have you been out gigging at the weekends?? i`m still recovering from my surgery and haven`t been out infact i`m giving serious consideration to retiring [just to give all the others the chance to catch up with me lol lol] but i will decide in the next few weeks.
On a more serious note are you still using your yamaha desk and have you had any problems with it?? the guys in the band had to leave our desk in the power supply had gone in it we/they checked with yamaha and it seems that the power unit does tend to give probs hope yours doesn`t
Well old friend it was so great to see you back in the house please pass my very best on to your lovely family
weegeo------------------ in the corner with his old friend Shyam knocking back the oul vodka`s lol

George, twas lovely hearing from you. Before I go any further ......... DONT SAY ANOTHER WORD ABOUT RETIRING !!!!!!!!! Music is what keeps us "afloat", George, and its amazing the wonders it does to us . Take it easy , if you need to B U T dont ever, think of retiring .Its NOT in your dictionary ....... is that understood? Now be a good little boy and dont make me get drunk worrying about you. The Yamaha Mixer is doing good - no hassles with the power supply, but truthfully I did want to buy a spare power supply when I bought t new. Do you have power fluctuations in yoir area ? If not , I think you should ask your boys to check if the connector is screwed on tight at the back of the mixer. Any loose connections can cause a lot of heartaches. The season of Lent is just over and I hope the gigs will come along. Do take care and ............ S M I L E Lots of love and good wishes

Wow that was quick lol lol i take it your glass is empty lol
I wAs talking about the internal power board the guys were gigging and a distortation came on 1 of the channels but cleared as fast as it came, they thought nothing of it until they went to gig the following nite when they powered up the desk nothing happened no output at all luckily they always carry a spare desk they left the yamaha in for repair and i contacted yamaha technical direct and was told that in the first desks there was a small problem showing with the internal power board we got the desk repaired under warranty
Keep in touch shyam
George
