Here's a real cool site I found not sure if its been posted before or not. Think of it as a Search Engine/Youtube /We7/MP3 Download site all in one ..and it claims to be 100%Virus Free......just do a search for any song you choose the results are usually in Youtube video format but you can extract the mp3 there and then by using the "mp3ify" which gives you the option of downloading the mp3 direct to wherever you choose pc/usb/ ipod etc and for itunes/ipod etc you can choose the "mp4ify" option...

So far this site is free and you will occasionally be asked to donate but you can just bypass this and continue downloading if you reach the max amount of downloads like I did last night which was about 10 downloads I think.. its just a matter of logging off and logging on again.. ......also very handy for searching for those hard to find karaoke backing tracks(mp3) and you can also find midi files and lyrics here ....and if your in the right location you can download your mp3.s to your mobile/cell phone ........dunno how long this site is gonna remain free so its worth checking out ....if your having probs gimme a shout might be able to help after being on it for hours last night .

.btw when you see the word "cover" in your results this means usually its not the original artist usually some Joe Soap showing off his skills .....also it is advisable to use the far right option of "Play" before you download just in case the quality's no good ;D

Do that Pat Im sure you'll really enjoy it . .....just typed in Elvis for fun and there's tons of stuff rare footage and you'd probably find any song you want there as well......really enjoyed this one you probably saw it before........

Barry, mate, I have just gotten hold of some really good versions of songs [backings] I already have, so you have my gratitude for this link. Tell, you what, I am even tempted to make a donation as these guys have come up with something really cool and easy to use.

Do you know if the videos download option is a free one. There are some karaoke songs i wanted to download with the lyrics included for my 15 year old girl to sing with but when I try that option I am faced with something different to when i down load as MP3s. i hope I am making sense

Hi Pat.. ......thats great that you found something you can use ...yes was thinking of donating a few bob myslef its an ingenious idea everything under one roof so to speak. ......I just downloaded a video no probs Id say you need to download the Real Player SP before you can do that I installed it recently to view news clips on the RTE site so thats why I had no probs downloading ........let me know how you get on ..here's the link .......Cheerz

Thanks Barry, will try that and let you know what happens. I am still on the site and was blocked for "throttling" but all I did was go back a few pages and am up and running again, but it's a nuisance so will definitely be giving them a few bob
