Hi folks, just to let you know that Ole Simmo hasn't been ignoring the members stage performances the truth is i am still having problems with our new server Optus, since going on to wireless with them everyday is full of surprises,i have not been able to access the internet for the last couple of days & even before that to try & download a song or even listen to one has been impossible,i spend time looking at a yellow & green light which indicates that the system is not receiving the proper connection ,when & if they turn to red & blue it indicates that i am back in business,so my apologies to Howard,Mark,Pete & Bri for not being able to put a comment on there performances, just thought i would let you know the situation,i have been onto the server but with the usual responses (usually from someone with such a strong foreign accent i have problems understanding them anyway),thought i would put you in the picture,Simmo,( with not a lot of hair left to pull out) ;D ;D

Hi Terry Sorry to hear about your wireless probs I know how infuruating it all can be went through similar probs myself..........if I were you Id just tell them if your not sorted out in 24 hours your taking your business elsewhere they wont be long understanding that. Unless your like me living kinda remote and the signal isnt the best and your stuck for choices I'd also stop paying them until they sort it out its crazy in this day and age to put up with this .......thats my tuppence worth anyway hope you get sorted soon............regards Barry

Hi folks, just to let you know of the latest progress with our server Optus, had a bit of a check in the early hours of this morning (monday) & found all the flashing lights were a go-er,internet working ok,i think Freeways comment about the remote locality may be the problem, although we are only situated about 50 km south of Perth we found that on moving down here about two & half years ago we were very limited with our internet & phone services & only up to recently we have been able to move away from our original supplier whom we had both services with who also being the only company available at the time gave us the runaround as well.I will look into Franks suggestion about updating the driver but being fairly green at that sort of thing (ole Simmo's likely to stuff the computer up) i will get a bit of advice first thanks also to Jerrymc's offer as well, once again being a little distance away from Ireland this to could pose a few technical problems as well,i have been out today, had a 2 hour Valentines day gig at the Blind Society up in Perth which was well received,i also have 2 senior gigs on thursday & then another one on friday to finish the week off so things are looking up,the best part is they are all in the daytime. The Simmo's backyard makeover is now complete after two & a half months of some serious hard work by the War office & myself,we had a BBQ on Saturday with all our friends to celebrate the occasion ( any excuse for a get together & a few drinks) so i will now hopefully have some time to edit some more midi's using the sonic cell & John G's tutorial, hopefully it will all come back to me.Well time to get moving its 6.30pm & i need to do some watering outside in the garden,Best wishes to all ,Simmo

Hi folks, just to keep you up to speed on my computer probs,i have been asking around the locality & it appears that as Freeway mentioned our particular spot seems to be as they call it 'a hole' in the wireless network coverage, one of the comments were from an expert who is involved in this sort of thing & he even said that come the weekends even he has the same problems i have been getting, saying that since i last posted our computer has been working normally although not the 'fastest kid on the block' so i guess we will have to see how it goes,Simmo
