As some of you know, George was in hospital this week for a serious operation, his son Mark sent me a message today with an update......

mark here just to let you know my da went through his surgery on monday morning he had a bad time which is the reason that i haven`t let you know, he is doing a lot better now and is quite cheerful he wanted me to let you know so that you could tell his friends that he is ok.
They removed his lung and hopefully he will be ok there didn`t seem to be any disease in his other lung so his prognosis is good his lymphnods were ok as well so all in all a good result. I know my dad loves his time with the forum and he asks if i`ve been on it lol so i have to look in for him.
On a personal front thank you to all in the site that have held him in their thoughts

Mark has informed me that George is slowly on the mend and he is in good spirits which is great news. He also asked me to convey George and the family's appreciation for the best wishes recieved from all his good friends here.
