Microphone setting for PSR s900

I know in the old forum we had many conversations regarding best quality sounds etc on the PSR s900. I remember Shyam had posted a couple of alternatives inwhich at the time I never got to try out or jot down. But as I am hoping to do a couple of recordings in the next couple of days I'd like to ask Shyam and anyone else who uses the PSR s900 for recording vocally, the best volume and effects settings to achieve a the best quality possible. I am using a Shure Beta 58A microphone.
