From .flv to .mp3 - is it possible?

Hi guys,

I was wondering.....is it possible to convert the format .flv to a mp3.file.

I have found some very good karaoke backings on youtube and would like to download them as mp3. Do I use a certain program? (I´m using a mac)

Would really appreciate some help here.

Here's a free prog called Freeze to do just that ..........there is also a free Prog called Freecorder which you can use if Im not mistaken here to record from You Tube direct to your pc without the need of converting to mp3 ......see the links below..........regards

yepp its possible just do a google for a prog theres a few i did have one but redone pc so kinda lost it the prog i had done flv to video but had options to do mp3

I have checked out the programs you suggested but found that they are only for Windows.
I have a Mac.

But I googled around a bit and found "Flv Crunch". It seems to work with Mac but I have to try it out some more.

Here's one that might work be worth trying out anyway for your Mac OS.......you might need to pay later on though.....if I come across any free progs Ill post ok btw check out the Mac Forum link as well you might find something there ....regards
