Hi Everyone My wife and I drove down to Kerala to attend her cousin's wedding there. The drive to Calicut from Bangalore, through the lush green country sidewas lovely., passing through ashort stretch of reserved wild life sanctuary.I wish I cold've hugged the baby elephant ........ it was so cute and naughty. The drive back is best forgotten ....... took a wrong route via the Rajiv Gandhi National Park and got messed up badly trying to steer through the terribly bad roads (actually there were no roads) We remembered to take a pic of the road, after we survived the really bad patch.. All said and done, we enjoyed the adventure.

Hi Shyam, Good to hear you survived the trip, but it obviously had a serious affect. Never seen a message from you with SOOOOO many typos!!! ;D Only joking. That second road looks fine to me. A bit better than most roads in East Africa in the early fifties. [rant] That's the trouble with people today they don't know when they have things so good! [Yorkshire accent] I remember, when I were a lad, mud were so deep you had to take a pole with yer ter test yer wouldn't drown in it.[/Yorkshire accent][/rant] Thanks for the piccies, Shyam. JohnG.
