Hi Folks, I have a cure for athletes foot, i used to suffer very badly with this some time ago, and tried all that the doctor could offer to no avail. so in desperation to stop the itching and pain, i soaked my feet in as hotter water as i could stand for 10 minutes, then rub them as hard as you can with a rough towel, after this pour a whole bottle of Brut aftershave over the affected area, It stings like hell, but i have never had athletes foot since.

This is very timely. A friend of mine suffers from athletes foot so will be delighted when I mention this possible remedy. It certainly isn't a conventional approach but if it works that's what matters. Thank Kieth

The key to a more conventional and possibly less painful remedy is persistency. Like you I had this for ages and it kept coming back.
Mine was using Boots own athletes foot cream (but I imagine any would do) and continuing with it for at least a week after the infection seems to have stopped. It is caused by a fungus, I am told, and the fungus still hangs around even when the foot no longer seems to be infected. I then continued with a powder for another week or so. Last time I had it was more then a year ago. Whenever I get an itchy foot I apply the powder and it goes away.
Oh, and put the powder into all your shoes and change your socks regularly.
Too much of a coward to pour Brut over the toes!

The Brut stings like hell because it's mostly alcohol. If that 'cured' your athlete's foot and anti-fungals did not, them I would be prone to believe that you did not have a fungal infection in the first place.

I had almost the same situation but I had herpes on foot like here illnessee.com/herpes-on-feet-pictures/ and I suffered so much. But I read a lot of information including this site I linked and in few days I kinda cured it. I learned how to keep it down so I can live normal life
