I have two of them and also an extra circuit board. (The second was for a redundant back-up and the circuit board was one I repaired, when I went ahead and replaced my musical partner's with a brand new one). I also have the service notes for it. I felt I needed the service notes to do repairs, and found out that I really didn't as it is a very simple unit to take apart and put back together. For those that do not know, the SD-35 is a vintage file player that relies on the use of 720KB floppy disks. Those disks are still easily findable, which kind of surprised me. The sound module is a Roland Sound Canvas. It was built to be reliable can take a licking and keep on ticking. Here is a downloadable manual: www.synthman.com/roland/support/SD-35_OM.htmlI have found a lot of the info in the manual to be quite handy, MIDI wise. If someone buys hers and then has questions, I'll be more than happy to give you a hand!

Possible to get a copy/scan of the service notes for the Roland SD-35? I need to get inside to fix mine and can't find the service manual anywhere.
Let me know - thanks!
