Dear Members
It is with disappointment and regret I inform members that John G has decided to step down as a moderator on the forum for personal reasons.
John has been a wonderful mod and a terrific contributor to the forum since day one and will be greatly missed in that role. However, John reassures me of his intention to remain on as a member and continue to assist and contribute when and wherever he can. This is indeed excellent news as John is arguably the most knowledgeable member on MIDI we have.
Now, as the old saying goes - "when one door closes, another opens" and so in this respect I am very pleased to inform you we have a new Mod here at here at the Midihanout and it is Barry (Freeway).
Barry has been with us here for many years and in all that time has been consistently helping members in their search for difficult to obtain MIDI files or assisting them with whatever their concerns are on the forum.
Barry will be a great asset to the modding team and will help maintain the forum in the way it was originally intended to be used; a place for likeminded MIDI enthusiasts to come together and discuss all things MIDI and other things related to music.
So as we say farewell to John in respect to his role as a mod and thank him gratefully for all he has done, we say welcome to Barry and look forward to working with him in the days, months and years ahead.
