I think "Disco Duck" by Rick Dees takes the winning prize for me..How that recording ever got on the airwaves, let alone be a hit with the listeners,is simply beyond my comprehension.
But be that as it may...That stupid song got him lots of money and recognition,I'm sure. Guess I'm the stupid one...LOL

You obviously play to audiences with taste Jacqui. I actually got asked to do Crocodile rock last night, I took a leaf out of Barrys book and did all the song except for the la la la la bit. As per Barry, it went down a storm. I am now eating my humble pie for lunch.
Still cant stand the song though. As they say 'needs must'.

Say what you want about Sir Elton John and the CrockRock tune...He's "La La La ing" all the way to the bank and back, making several return trips. The guy is a musical genius, out and out.

Not so sure about the 'musical genius' bit but I will give him the benefit of the doubt. If I had to categorise him he would be in the 'highly strung' section for sure.

"You Gave Me a Mountain" The most depressing country song of all time. Jimmy Buckley, Gene Watson, Elvis Presley and worst version of all is Marty Robbins and he wrote it................Thats my daily Rant..................G

I have so many contenders for worst song, that I'm struggling to find "the one", so I'm going to cheat & put a few:
Penny Arcade - any version, (it's not just me, it's banned from my local club) The Working Man - David Alexander (now that IS depressing) Hey Baby - DJ Otzi version - I can't believe that some singers still do this Angels - Robbie Williams - probably made worse by drunken karaoke singers (actually that could describe the original, lol)

Haha! I love that one, Tommy, (each to their own, lol).
I would have to add Movin' On Up by MPeople ( or pretty much anything else by them, but this one most of all)

I hate sailing by Rod the mod, but I dare not admit to the song I hate most in the world because some of you might hunt me down and kick my donkey or worse put a contract out on me
