Hi Tommy, I guess yourself & all of the family are feeling a little empty after seeing some of the close family setting out to make a new life for themselves in Aussie where I am sure that if they persevere & stick it out they will all have a great future over here. The upside is that yourself & good lady will have a great opportunity to come & visit from time to time (depending on the budget of course ).Are they still heading down to “Simmo country” or are the going to another State, if they are heading for Perth.here is the latest weather forecast for the next week,we are into winter mode with our weather. Today Sat....11c-20c..clearing showers Sunday.........8c-22c....Sunny Monday.........9c-22c Sunny Tuesday........11c-22c...Sunny Wednesday...10c-23c...Sunny Thursday........10c-34c....Sunny Friday..............11c-26c...Sunny I must admit Patricia & I are feeling the winter chill already, maybe time to have another trip to Bali . Best wishes to all ....the Simmo’s Ps..do you still have our contact details ??

Hi again Tommy, Kinross yes about an hour away from us,we are in Baldivis, South of Perth city, Kinross is a suburb about 20km North of Perth, Perth is now very spread out with the amount of new areas being opened up we literally need a new street directory every year to keep up with the changes. they would be fairly close to the Indian Ocean plus there are some nice beaches up that way as well.It is a bit quieter where we live & its been years since we have been into Perth city as we have most of the facilitys down our way & have no reason to go there. It would be great to say hi to the family which would make a great little post on the forum with possibly a couple of pics. Thanks for keeping us posted Tommy & best wishes to the good lady as well. Terry & Patricia (the Simmo's )

Hi Tommy, I can fully understand how gutted you feel cos my daughter, son-in-law and 2 dear grand-daughters left for Brisbane, Australia 9 years ago and we were absolutely gutted at the time, but as Simmo says just think of all the holidays you can have now. We have been there 4 times since they left here and we now get used to the fact that is where they live now. It's a fantastic country and a great way of life, so think of the positives. We still miss the family but we now skype and facetime almost every day and this really makes you feel a lot closer. You'll always miss her Tommy, but it gets easier with passing time. Thinking about you at this time.
Kind regards,
Peter

Hi Frankie,
I notice you are based in the Gold Coast, and on the subject of grand-daughters, My wife, Pat and I spent 5 days at the Q1 building on the 60th floor, from where the view was absolutely stuuning, to celebrate our oldest grand-daughter's 18th birthday last November. We had been there several times before, and what a marvellous part of the world you live in. We had a ball and also visited good friends in Southport. Maybe next time we could meet for a stubby of XXXX. Get your Skype working, turn it upside down and give us a call!!
Kind regards,
Peter
