My granddaughter is imigrating to Australia shortly her huband is over there working at the moment he has just managed to rent a house so they should be off soon will be sorry to see them go but it will be a better life for her and her two sons aged seven and five it's my 50th anniversary next year so with a bit of luck may take a trip over there to visit them

I was talking to Paul my granddaughter's husband on skype yesterday he said he was working near Perth Frank

 Hey Tommy,we live about an hour from Perth so let us know more details & we will say a big G'Day to the folks & who knows you & the good lady just might head over here yourself for a visit one of these days,I'm sure that our weather at the moment will take the chill out of their bones,its hovering around mid thirties most days.I will send you more details if the folks would like to catch-up with the Simmo clan or possibly need any advice. Hi Tommy...just a quick check on how the family is progressing with the big move down to our part of the world, I guess that there is a lot of stuff to sort out..keep in touch...The Simmo's.. Ps... our summer is still in full swing...expecting a warm weekend with the shade temps hitting 42C ( 108F ) I might even give the busking a miss on sunday Ole Simmo must be getting a bit soft in he's old age

Grandaughter is moving out there in May has a lot to sort out first as you say as far as weather is concerned still freezing our ar--s off over here

Tommy dont worry about shipping furniture and whitegoods over here as they are cheaper here than the shipping cost's.

Thats great news Tommy. Have we met your grand daughter ? I think Paul dropped us off at the station, didnt he ?
I bet yioure going to miss them lots but it'll be a lovely break for you and Reena to spend a vacation there. Any chance of dropping by to Bangalore on your way out or way in ? Remember our home is yours, any time and you dont even have to knock !!

Yes you did meet Kellann and yes that was her husband Paul who drove you to the station i guess i will miss them very much but knowing they are going to have a better life out there takes the edge off it a bit and thanks very much for the kind words Rena and i will also cherish the time we spent together I would love to stop over in Bangalore on the way over who knows
