Howdy all,
A couple of things that I came across recently and was prepared to part with hard earned cash for, and thought I'd share with you.
1. A Rock n Roller multi cart.
These are made in several sizes, I bought the smallest, the R2.
Folding handles either end that lock in place, one longer than the other.
Two larger fixed wheels at one end, and two smaller rotaters, lockable, at the other.
The cart slides open to roughly double its length, and locks.
A carpeted bottom deck and shelf can be added to make it perfect, not only for loading and shlepping, but also for performing, holding mixer etc. at a convenient height.
The bigger models allow various shelf heights, the small one has a single fixed height about 22" off the floor.
My mixer etc. sits on the top of a 19" rack mount box, bringing it up to about 3 feet.
The locking wheels make it pretty stable.
I paid about 60 Euro for mine from Thomann.
The addition of deck and shelf doubled that.

Shlepping equipment to and from the car has never been easier!
2. The Zoom H-1 v2.
A very handy, tiny, lightweight, reasonable cost, stereo recorder using a micro SD card.
Less than 5.5" long and weighing next to nothing!
Good recording quality in a variety of wav formats, from 44Khz, 16 bit upwards OR in various mp3 formats.
It comes with a 2GB card giving more than 3 hours at 44/16 wav.
It takes up to 32GB SD cards.
Very handy for recording yourself at gigs if you want to.
It has a small threaded hole on the underside that fits camera stands.

3. Mighty Bright Hammer Head LED light.
Handy little light for illuminating mixing desk etc.
Runs off batteries. Very bright. Clips in place like a clothes peg.
Can be mains powered with a suitable wall wart.
Can use a little additional stand, which is also magnetic, allowing it to be stood in place next to, or stuck onto the side of e.g. a steel rack tray. I got this from Thomann too.

Thought they may prove interesting to some.
