No it is not. closed. Far from it. ONLY the home page has been changed, to throw the legal eagles off Midimart's scent.
You can access all pages if you just do a google search for midimart. The second link takes you to the copyright licence page and from there you can access EVERY page except the old home page!!!!!
Needless to say, the legal eagles have been informed and so the site should wind up shut down soon. I am monitoring it like a hawk.
(BTW, I'm a doctor, not a lawyer, Jim. <grin> Yep, I'm a Trekkie, Trekkor, what ever ya wanna call me, and even have two complete and quite authentic Klingon uniforms, several different headpieces, disruptor, Mekleth and Batleth and a couple of very cool pieces to just look at. I also do a civilian Klingon on occasion. I've also done a Bajoran Dabo girl. I also have a Feregni headpiece, but not a good outfit. One day I would very much like to be able to do an authentic looking Cardassian and Romulin)

No there isn't but the fact that one has been started and the fact that there are indeed people joining, ones that more than likely have no clue as to what is going on, does not sit well with me one bit. Serious point now The new forum has 1/2 of our members registered to it and i would have thought that they would have known and understood how hurt most of us are in this forum, and would have perhaps told us a little of what was going on.
As for the site i would expect it to close in the very near future a very dear friend of mine has started litigation over a number of files that he had made but no longer bear his copyright, i`m sure you will understand i am not at liberty to say anymore about this at this time. As the saying goes `watch this space`

Half of our members have joined that forum?? Well 24 members isn't near half but still, it's utterly insane that anyone who knew anything about what he did would even consider joining, for one second. Man I sure would like to know their honest reasons why. Are people so desperate for files that they just don't care? Did these members believe that he didn't do what he did??? And if so, why didn't they speak up before? I guess I'll just never understand people.

I made sure to cancel my membership to the "not-dead-yet" site through PayPal (luckily I caught it three days before the renewal). I received my confirmation, so I'm officially done with that site.
