Doesn't Shyam make you think what Christmas is all about....lovely words....my wife Caitriona's friend had a still born on friday ( it would have been her first ) and the little girl, Lucy is being laid to rest tomorrow....we can never be too thankful for the treasures we have.....Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all in the forum

Hi folks,the "Simmo's" would also like to take this opportunity to wish all the members of the "hangout"a very merry Christmas & all of the very best in the coming year,i guess that most of us will celebrate in the usual way regardless of what part of the world we come from.For ourselves this year we will be leaning on the kids which will be a nice change especially for Patricia who for many years has always had all of the family here & by the end of the day is well & truly shattered.Weatherwise it is looking good,tomorrow Christmas eve is going to be sunny & 32c followed by a week of the same with temps rising to around 35c by New years eve,it makes a pleasant change from the 40c which is usual for us in our part of the world around this time of year.I myself have had a pretty busy week with the oldies gigs which i finished yesterday (thursday),i did have a busking session on sunday morning at our local market,it was good to catch up with all of my regulars,i actually think they have missed this "old fart"owing to the fact i have been absent for a couple of months.Back into some catch-up gardening jobs tomorrow which is pretty straightforward as since downsizing from our old place from four years ago,where we had about an acre to look after with the usual things such has a big veggie patch,chooks(chickens) plus a 20m x 10m workshop ( half full of useless rubbish that would be destined for the rubbish tip after hanging on to it just in case i might need it at some stage in the future).  (where we took the Simmo's Utube music video from).Well Ole Simmo's starting to wander into what is looking suspiciously like the start of another rambling episode so i had better quit while i am ahead ;D,so once again to all at the Hangout have a great Christmas & a safe & healthy 2012.
