i have been going through tomdoc's last 20 posts and he gave as many files as he got if not more i think you were very harsh on him i know him he told me it was stupid to start another site but he did not mean any malice he then shut it down and what you dont know is the personal emails he got for files which he duly sent shyam should know that he asked for a few some tomdoc payed for wee ashy

That is true,he wanted to revitalise the defunk Fresh Midi forum. I also had files from him that he had purchased.

Do you all think we ban people from here for the fun of it? He joins here and within a few weeks is setting up an almost identical forum to ours?? You dont have to be Einstein to work that one out..  We are not in the business of raking up the past....the result stands...lets leave it at that. A discussion on something not agreed on by all is one thing....attempts to stir trouble are something else and will not be tolerated. |

If i can throw my point in i have been a member of this and the previous forum for some considerable time and i wholeheartedly agree with the admins stand on this,if he had said from the start what his intentions were then perhaps he may have gotten a load of help from the admins and i`m sure members as well,but to start a virtual copy of our forum was more than a little daft as the result shows. My question would be can the admins allow him back without asking us the members!!!,no one likes anyone barred but it has happened and i/we must accept that what the admins did was to protect ourselves.
Then we come to your comment on `files being bought`i would have to say that the majority of my files are all bought and that is why i hardly ever post a file but if i see a request and i have the file i send it by email i don`t publish the fact that i bought it i share it because thats what we do in this forum so i`m sorry saying he bought files doesn`t mean a lot to me. I am sorry that it has come to this but the decision has been made and i feel it would be unfair to reverse it,i am sure there is another forum that will welcome him in as a member.

i think you should get your facts right tubbs tomdoc joined dec 2010 not a couple of weeks prior to his ban and what did he do that was so terrible he started up another site maybe it was not the right thing to do so he made a error it wasnt planned have you ever made a mistake nobody was harmed through it you make him out as some kind of ogre weeashy

i feel i must come clean i will be deleting my account after this post i am tomdoc's daughter i joined this site so i could speak for my father as he could not he is a good man and i love him dearly after i lost my brother not so long ago my father was in some state as you can imagine the when he joined fresh midis and this site it gave him an interest he was back to his old self again then fresh midis shut down he got banned from this site and he did not know what for he was in a terrible state he is senior citizen and his music is all he's got left WEEASHY

Im genuinely sorry for you and your fathers loss weeashy. But the owner of this forum, after a staff discussion, felt this was the only option we were left with.
I will bring it up for discussion again as i would be neglecting my duties if i didnt, and to also tell you that the buck doesnt stop solely with me....in turn we will let you know the outcome.

I'm with Gerry on his comments, and join his expressions of condolence, but we have been through many rough rides in recent years with our previous persona, and on occasions this Forum.
I am afraid that the rules must be upheld otherwise the forum falls into total anarchy, and eventually will fold as did FM.

I was with FM as well as here until FM closed down.Tomdoc swapped a couple of files with me on Fm until it closed down.I got an email from him asking me if I knew of any other sites,so I pointed him to here.He told me he was a pensioner and he needed somewhere to help him pass the time and something to do.After he joined here he sent me another email asking me how he would go about starting a site of his own,I said I thought it would be too much for one person and that he should ask one of you which he didn't do.In the next few days he had the site up and running.I think he was stupid and as Frankie says,very green.I'm not sure he unerstood the harm he was doing.
