Hi folks, just another subject to mull over from Ole Simmo, you would have probably noticed that i am seldom online in the forum when other members are which of course is due to the time differences in the countries around the world,my usual time to have a peep at whats happening on the forum is first up in the morning, say anytime from 5.00am-7.00am West Aussie time ,because of habit over the many years when i worked for myself as a commercial lawnmowing contractor it was always early starts (and late finishes as well) most of the time.Sometimes i will see Frank online but even then it is usually a time difference of up to three hours between us,Frank being from the Eastern States, we are always behind there time.In the UK we can be up to 9 hours ahead in WA depending on the time of year so when i normally log onto the forum in the morning most of you folks over there are either retired for the night or about to,of course picking our times to contact friends, relatives etc by phone at a reasonable time can take a bit of juggling but we manage ok. I am not sure of the time zones in other parts of the world of other members..Shyam,Howard in the USA etc...anyway just food for thought,,,Best wishes..Simmo

When we are in Cyprus we are two hours ahead of UK time and, as we observe the same daylight saving rules, this applies all year round. Like you Simmo I tend to be up early and on line around seven a.m. which means it's only five a.m. in UK. Great for listening on line to the BBC early morning output but not so good if we forget the time difference (I blame advancing years) and skype friends or family. The only forum member I've managed to chat to on line is John G. He being in Germany the most difference there can be is an hour either way depending on whether we're in UK or Cyprus. I shall have to stay up late one night and see if I can catch our down under friends for a chat.
